Description

This option covers an online provider evaluation and, if you are approved, a 30-day supply of compounded hair loss capsules for men, shipped to your door from a licensed US pharmacy.

Each capsule combines finasteride 1 mg, minoxidil 2.5 mg and biotin 5 mg, taken once a day. Finasteride and minoxidil are the two medications most often used for male pattern hair loss. Putting them in one oral capsule means there is nothing to apply to the scalp and nothing to fit into a morning routine beyond swallowing a pill. Oral minoxidil for hair loss is an off-label use, and the capsule is compounded to this combination by the pharmacy.

Whether a hair loss pill is right for you is a decision a licensed provider makes after reading your medical history and questionnaire answers. No lab work is required to be considered, and there is no office visit. You order online, a provider licensed in your state reviews your answers, and if approved the pharmacy compounds your capsules and ships them in plain packaging.

Hair loss treatment is reviewed over months rather than weeks, and your provider will tell you what to expect in your situation. If you would rather use a topical, our finasteride and minoxidil solutions are on the Male Hair Loss topical page.

The price on this page is the price. There is no membership fee on top of it.

This service is prescription only and treatment is not guaranteed. Medication is dispensed only if a licensed provider approves you, and fulfillment is subject to pharmacy requirements. Compounded medications are not approved or evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality.

How billing works. You are charged in full when you place your order, before a provider reviews it.

If a provider decides treatment is not right for you, you are refunded in full. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

What to expect

  1. You complete a medical questionnaire when you order.
  2. A licensed provider reviews your history and your answers. They may approve you, decline, or come back with questions.
  3. If approved, your prescription goes to a licensed US compounding pharmacy, which fills it and ships it to you.
  4. Your provider confirms the capsule is right for you. The strength is fixed, so there is nothing to choose.

This is a once-a-day capsule that combines finasteride 1 mg, minoxidil 2.5 mg and biotin 5 mg. There is nothing to apply to the scalp. A 30-day supply is 30 capsules.

Hair loss treatments are generally reviewed over a period of months rather than weeks. Your provider will tell you what to expect in your situation.

Safety and side effects

The notes below are drawn from FDA-approved labeling for finasteride and minoxidil. Compounded medicines are not approved or evaluated by the FDA, so this describes the active ingredients rather than this specific compounded product. Oral minoxidil is not FDA-approved for hair loss, and biotin has no FDA-approved drug labeling for hair loss.

Finasteride and pregnancy. Women who are pregnant or who may become pregnant should not handle this medication. Finasteride can cause abnormalities in the genitals of a male fetus. Store it out of reach.
