Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. It is compounded together with vitamin B12, which is why your vial is labeled semaglutide/B12. The three month option exists to cut down the back and forth. You are reviewed once and your medication is dispensed as a 90-day supply rather than as three separate monthly fills. The price does not change as your dose changes, and there is no membership fee on top of it.
Semaglutide is taken as a subcutaneous injection once a week. Your provider sets your dose and tells you how to take it. Doses are prescribed weekly, not as a monthly total.
